What are some good English short story collections book to read?
I’m trying to improve my English.
I don’t like reading novel no matter in my language or English.
I like reading though.
I mostly read comic books like “Calvin and Hobbes” or “Archie”.
From time to time I’ll read short stories.
I like comedies.
But you don’t have to limit your suggestions to comedy books, although i prefer reading something not too heavy in term of emotion.
Please suggest me books that is safe for work because I do not want to hide from anybody while reading it.
If you can suggest me something British related it’s nice too, because if I do well in my exam in May I’m going to study abroad at Nottingham University.
Smoke and Mirrors: Short Fictions and Illusions by Neil Gaiman is a fantastic book. there are a large variety of different types of short stories in there. He also has an amazing grasp of the English language. English is my primary language and this book taught me quite a bit. there are several editions of this book available.
